Appeals & Rejections

If you get a letter in the mail from Canada Immigration advising you that your application for Canadian immigration was refused, do not panic! You do have options

How to appeal?

If your immigration case has been refused, there are two possible ways to appeal the decision;

01. Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) of the Immigration and Refugee Board

02. Federal Court of Canada (FCC).

Appeal: Second resort

To determine if your case is good for an appeal we have to first see the type of visa refusal.  It is a good idea to appeal a decision if you or your legal adviser believe that the decision made by the immigration officer is incorrect. One can show that their decision wrong in Federal Courts of Canada.

How ever in a case of an application is made by permanent residents or refugees, the case can be directed to  Immigration Appeal Division for consideration.
